The South Fork area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities such as fishing one of the many lakes or streams or hitting the mighty Rio Grande for Gold Medal water action. Mountain biking is available on many of the trails in the surrounding Rio Grande National Forest. Hike into Wheeler National Monument for a day trip or any of the many trials throughout the area. Jeep the many passes in the area for breath-taking views of the San Juan Mountains. Golfing is available at South Fork's private resort 18-hole golf course.
